One thing that immediately sticks out about this project was the feedback from the client after a week or so of using her new kitchen. She said “I love cooking again! My feet don’t hurt when I walk on the new floor”. We installed LVT or luxury vinyl tile with a pad on the back. This cushioned the floor allowing this client to once again love cooking!

This project wasn’t without its challenges though. As we were tearing out the old kitchen we uncovered a massive amount of termite damage as well as a live termite infestation. A pest termite company was immediately called to deal with the issue and as the termites had compromised the structure of the floor we called a structural engineer to advise us how to properly and safely make repairs.

There pan and knife dividers built in to the cabinetry to make it easy for this client to keep her kitchen organized. We love the full extension drawers and all the storage they provide. The bright under cabinet lighting accents the beautiful granite tops and the white wavy subway tile used as a backsplash.
